Mobile Monday event was held on 3rd June 2013 at CIIT Islamabad Campus. The topic of discussion for this month’s event was Mobile Application Development.
Mr. Syed Yasir Imtiaz from CAST department presented the applications currently being made by his research group at CAST department. The application ideas included the areas related to location based services like friend finder, Restaurant finder and Medicine finder with some innovative additions in respect to the users of Pakistan. Medicine finder application can be used to find the appropriate medical stores for a specific medicine. Some applications were related to game programming like an interesting Quiz game and another one for fire fighting being made by Mr. Imad Siraj of CAST department.
The event concluded with the vote of thanks from Dr. Mahmood Ashraf Khan.
