Pushing Boundaries: The New Wave of Mobile Content Delivery and SuperPhones
Jim Cathey will be discussing ways for developers to rethink the way they view content on mobile devices and how mirasol displays enables engineers to design better and do more in a handset. The technology has helped content producers like Conde Nast and Murdock’s media empire move their media onto mobile devices. Under Cathey’s leadership, QMT’s innovative mirasol display has transitioned from a little-known, emerging display technology to an award-winning product incorporated in a diverse portfolio of mobile devices. Cathey is a 17-year technology industry veteran and a recognized expert in the display sector, with experience spanning multiple display technologies such as field emission display (FED), liquid crystal on silicon (LCOS), organic light-emitting diode (OLED) and liquid crystal display (LCD).
