First Anniversary of The Mob Rulz Weekly = Tricks and Treats and Smiles!
Yaaa.. seems like only last year we figured ‘somebody’ should start tracking and posting all the MoMo event action out there on a regular basis.. “how hard could it be”. Dammit Jim, it’s like herding Tribbles I tell ya! That said.. we managed to post 48 out of 52 weeks, taking some time off over the year-end holidaze, and have collected a pretty decent snapshot of a Year in the Life of Mobile Monday. Certain we have plenty of lessons learned along that road & stories to tell worthy of an e-book(?) someday. It’s gut-check time looking ahead for ‘another’ year; a dedicated newsletter platform for our massive email list, with annual sponsor in place, are top priorities. However, at this point, your zany bots are scrambling to get our Halloween costume sorted for tonite, mwahahahaha: we’ll be going as David. The MoMo events tour for week of Oct. 29th kicks-off in Beijing with Smart Cities theme, Boulder is at the ATLAS Institute with ‘spooky plans’ still not revealed, Hamburg insists NFC IS ALL AROUND! Lagos will explore Innovating Within the Network, Ljubljana welcomes Blackberry10 as London has the UKTI MWC 2013 Stand Competition Live Final. Lusaka does Incubation of ICT start-up companies in Zambia, New York joins on the 30th for Mobile First? while Tokyo runs Demo Night at Wired Cafe and the Zurich team gathers for Mobile in the Enterprise.. Star-Trek costumes apparently optional.. and just noticed MoMo Baku had Azerbaijan App Contest primary Monday nite!
Peek-a-Boo ahead for week of Nov. 5th we see Ann Arbor does Cross-Platform Mobile Development, Boston has fantastic panel on Trends in Mobile Investment, Calgary will be Learning How to Monetize Mobile, Dar-es-Salaam digs deep on eGovernance, Helsinki is Looking for NeoGrowth and Milwaukee does Mobile Device Mgmt Solutions. Montreal runs with Mobile Giving, Seattle will be @Amazon HQ, Split explores Windows Phone Dev. as does the crew in Tampere with details expected there asap.
