MoMo Germany National Summit – Hey.. It’s Cyber Mobile Monday!
Our very best wishes to community members soon joining for the 6th annual German National Summit in Frankfurt, an Über impressive full-day (and night) agenda there, hefty congrats to the organizers and supporters for pulling together another big show! Otherwise, with MO’events running this week from Adelaide to Vienna – and 5th Anniversary in Jakarta! – it’s amusing to see certain folks out there adopt our circa Y2K brand name, yes.. it is pretty catchy, for alternate purposes. Maybe they don’t know.. Doh – and didn’t Google – but we all know there is only One True Mobile Monday. So.. for now, as we head into the month-end media blitz, we’ll smile quietly at Madison Ave.
The MoMo world tour for gigs on Nov. 19th: we have Adelaide with the AIMIA Mobile Industry Group, Austin does hAPPy Hour drinks, Chicago will focus on Mobile Ads and Gaming while Dakar runs on the mHealth theme. Edmonton has the CTO from Telus, check his book “Weeding Out The Wankers”, Frankfurt hosts the MoMo Germany National Summit, Grand Rapids explores a Brave New World of Mobile in the Enterprise and we’ll forecast plenty of High-Five action in Jakarta for their 5th Birthday Party Celebration. MoMo Kampala gathers at Hive Colab, sponsored by Smile Telecom(!), on Mobile Broadband topic, New York joins with local partners for the Realtime Roadshow Boot Camp, Oulu is back with Real Enablers of Mobile Business and Paris does Future of Mobile after full day of activities there in conjunction with Orange. Rounding out the ride for this week we see Tel Aviv running on the Mobile Cyber Security topic this evening and it’s Demo Night in Vienna with an awesome range of startups who will take center stage at the Museum of Natural History to pitch – Good Luck To All..!!!
Update: Just noted Islamabad did IDEAS themed event back on Nov. 5th and posted their report, also see Accra had presentations by Google and Ghana Chamber of Telecommunications Nov. 16th.
Flash forward into next week – we find a Mobi Wizard Contest in Ahmedabad while Beijing explores The Road Ahead for HTML5, Brussels digs Strategy for Mobile Social Networks and London does an UnPanel as part of their 7th Anniversary event. Quick heads-up tip, the 2nd Eastern European Summit is locked for December 10th in Budapest. Otherwise, as always, check back next week for full update.
Meanwhile, uncle Nick offers encouragement for all our scraggly Mo’Bros out there and, with any luck, will be some extra smilies in the office this morning since Nov. 18th was on a weekend this year 😎
