Nokia Drops Hint at MoMo Barcelona

Nokia, the world’s largest mobile phone maker, will unveil an “interesting” phone to strengthen its product and service offerings later on Tuesday, a company official said late on Monday. “There’s going to be some interesting hardware,” said Udo Szabo, a senior manager for Nokia’s service business, in a speech at a Mobile Monday industry networking event. Analysts expect Nokia to unveil new smartphones at the annual Nokia World media and industry conference in Barcelona on Tuesday. Alpha testing begins

It has arrived … finally. The alpha testing for the new MoMoLondon site begins here and we need YOU to help us test the site and let us know what doesnt work, what doesnt make sense, and what is irritating. Right now the site is the basic skeleton of events registration, news blog and the forum. However there are plans for much more in the site. Right now we dont have the email side of things up and running … we are working on that and hope to have it working soon.

Important to note, this isnt yet going to replace the blog and Yahoo! group right now … once we are happy with the alpha we will clear down any registrations, comments and test data and will migrate our community as a whole onto this site … so bare with us please and keep posting to the Yahoo group ðŸ™‚

Registration to the the Mobile Peer Awards on behlaf of the Tel Aviv chapter is now officially closed. Thanks to all the startups who registered – we have a nice crop of 15 different startups from various fields in the mobile space.
