MobileMonday Palestine Officially launched on July 26th, 2010

Under the Patronage of the Prime Minister, Dr. Salam Fayyad, the Palestinian mobile community is proud to announce the official launch of MobileMonday Palestine Chapter, among the first MobileMonday chapters in the Arabic World to host the Palestinian mobile community of mobile operators, mobile application providers, startups, developers, consultants, and visionaries. Mobile Monday Supports mBillionth Awards

In keeping with the growing mobile boom in Asia, the Digital Empowerment Foundation along with the IT ministries of India and Sri Lanka recently hosted the first ever mBillionth Awards in New Delhi. In June this year, over a dozen jurors met in Colombo and spent three days going through 165 nominations from across South Asia. A one-day conference was also held that week in Sri Lanka, which featured speakers including Jari Tammisto, CEO of Mobile Monday. The networking organization Mobile Monday Boston assembled a group of CEOs in the private dining room at Barbara Lynch’s recently-opened Menton, in the neighborhood previously known as Fort Point Channel.
