101st chapter of Mobilemonday launched in Colombo

Mobilemonday global news: The launch of the Colombo chapter is a proud moment for the MobileMonday community. What started off as informal meetings between a few mobile visionaries in a Helsinki pub in 2000 has now grown into a global phenomenon with chapters in over 100 countries. The volunteer-driven community is now the largest organiser of mobile industry forums in the world, fostering innovation, cooperation and cross border business development.  Thanks Madan for sharing

“Open Call For News”

We’re primarily looking for New York stories but any news of interest to our community are welcome. We’re looking to strike a balance – 75% news from the mobile beat : 25% PR from mobile companies. We’ll consider the occasional advertorial but the deal is you have to buy drinks at our next event. We reserve the right to refuse news that we feel do not serve our community or its members. We’re also looking for a volunteer editor to help sort through it all. Submit News

Special Corelio visit – 3/5 AR event

Spotlight:
no

With this post I would like to highlight a special side event on 3/5.  Yves has managed to get us a visit of the ultramodern newspaper print facilities.  This is most probably a great exclusisivty to see how a newspaper business is moving to 21st centure digital and near real-time printing.  There are 25 places, check out AR event page for details to participate.

Note that here are already 40 participants that have registered for the Augmented Reality Event of 3/5 and a real interesting mix of participants.  Looking forward to meet you.
