All Eyes on Cape Town – 800 Registered! – for MobileMonday at AfricaCom
Mega props to the local crew, along with MTN and Qualcomm for stepping up to sponsor, on what will be the BIGGEST MoMo Event Ever on African soil! With some 800 folks registered to attend – expect they will have a totally rocking evening and take lotsa photos. Also noted; the team in Jakarta is due some High-Five action as they mark 5-years since launch of the Indonesia chapter, looking forward to Beer and Birthday cake celebrations there sometime soon. Meanwhile, the lineup for upcoming events around the world below.. our bold as brass forecast calls for Mondo Smilies out there.. 😎
The MoMo tour for this week kicks-off in Columbia where Barranquilla gathers at University of the Caribbean, as noted above Cape Town is hosting the masses @AfricaCom and we’re thrilled to see Colombo Returns the 14th! Copenhagen has QR Codes topic, Denver is on at Wells Fargo Center with agenda still TBA while Detroit does ‘Tis the Season to Rock Your Revenue. Madison is Baaack with Win8 theme, Manchester has Mobile Education focus, Philadelphia shares Sandy Mobile Stories, Richmond does 60 Mobile Ideas in 60 Minutes – sounds like a blast – Skopje hosts Liquid Labs and they will be spinning the big wheel in Silicon Valley with a Mobile Gam(bl)ing Uncensored theme.
A quick boo ahead to week of Nov. 19, so far we see Adelaide is on with the AIMIA Mobile Industry Group, Chicago will focus on Mobile Ads and Gaming, Edmonton scores big with the CTO from Telus, loved his book “Weeding Out The Wankers”! Grand Rapids explores a Brave New World of Mobile in the Enterprise with a great panel of speakers and the MoMo Germany National Summit for 2012 will run all-day (and night) with an Über impressive agenda, as always, for their annual gathering & MoMo New York joins together with several local partners for the Realtime Roadshow Boot Camp. Finally, don’t forget Vienna has Demo Night coming up there on 11.19th too.. 😎
