MoMo Islamabad – Sept. 9th – IPv6 Network Design

The Mobile Monday (MoMo) event has been scheduled on September 9th, 2013 at Seminar Hall, Academic block I, CIIT Islamabad Campus. The program will start at 3 PM.
Mr. Hamid Ali Mirza, manager (NESCOM) has been invited to give a talk on ”Network design, IPv6 its usage and role in the network security and future of networks”.
Faculty, Students and other professionals from Academia and Industry are invited to attend the event.
Mobile Monday event was held on 9th September 2013 at CIIT Islamabad Campus.
Mr. Hamid Ali Mirza explained the need of shifting from IPV4 to IPV6 with the help of OSI layers, addressing resolution, addressing ease, identification of large amount of objects, connectivity, mobility and other aspects of networking.
He compared over heads of IPV4 and IPV6 on the communication link. He also talked about connectivity over 250 Billion devices and self configurability of networks. The advantages of IPV6 over IPV4 like QOS, ease of use and security were also highlighted.
The event concluded with the vote of thanks from Mr. Khurram Saleem Alimgeer.
