GoingEast.Asia, the first survey on the expansion of Western Web 2.0, online gaming, mobile and e-commerce companies to East Asia, was released today. It was announced on the occasion of the biggest pan-Asian Internet conference, the Open Web Asia ‘08, in Seoul/Korea.

The unique online survey will reveal the most up-to-date information regarding the expansion status quo and the expansion plans of Western enterprises to East Asia in the interactive media field. The survey aims to examine the opportunities and challenges start-ups and established companies face and anticipate when “going Asia”. The first key results will be presented on November 14th, during the China 2.0 Blogger Tour in Shanghai.
