MoMo Dusseldorf – 4th July – Mobile Social Media

Posted on: June 4, 2011 – Filed under: Dusseldorf

Mobile Internet usage has finally broken into the mainstream mass-market. And that is also and especially true for mobile social media, networks and platforms: 200 Million out of 600 Million Facebook-members use their social network on the go. And more than 50% of the German mobile Internet audience use one or more social apps on their handsets.

Increasing numbers of social apps on the Web make more sense when you use them on the road. What is true for Foursquare and Qype is also true for the better part of Twitter: You have more to talk about on the road than from your desktop.

And in that process location is becoming something like the general “killer-parameter” for all for all mobile social activities: Out in the wild it’s your friends nearby that count and the place to meet them is what makes all the difference.

Time: July 4, 2011 from 6pm to 10pm
Location: Dusseldorf
Street: PLATZ DER IDEEN 1 (at Grey GmbH)
