Smile.. It’s October! We’re Back with Past, Present and Future Events..
Damn Raccoons.. while a video, that does not exist, would have done a better job to describe just cause on our absence here for last weeks update – suffice to note it could not be helped. Many thanks to all for your kind wishes and get well cards, for future reference; cute wild animals are Not always friendly despite their fluffy teddy bear(ish) appearance.. now consider yourselves duly warned.. 🙄
That said, we’re on the mend – sans rabies – and itching to get our house in order with MoMo gigs from 09.24 listed below and the lineup for events ontap around the world tonight.
For the cumulative record, Sept. 24th saw MoMo Baku run Mobile Startups in Azerbaijan, the crew in Bangkok held their 4th event, sponsored by InMobi and Bratislava featured Geo Location Services – which should help put them on the map b’cause we didn’t even know there is a chapter in Slovakia! Brussels did the 3rd Annual Apps Marathon, Jakarta focused on Monetizing Your Startup in Mobile Era, Lagos was also gathered for Monetizing Mobile, London held their HTML5 vs. Native debate, 3rd time’s the charm for Medellin as they joined for Innovation Week.. we’re thrilled to see more action coming up in Colombia! Paris had Mobile Tracking & Personalization, the folks in Philly did Mobility of the Personal Cloud, Seattle hosted a Cocktail Reception at 1Ø Conference while Vienna was at the Museum of Natural History for Mobile Tourism and Zurich dug into the Internet Of (all) Things.
For Mobile Monday event plans tonight we have Ann Arbor with The Business Value of Joy, all eyes on Boston for their first evAr Demo Night, Calgary does Native Apps vs the Mobile Web, the home office in Helsinki runs a mHealth theme, Kuala Lumpur is back at GTower for their App Developer Challenge and Macedonia is ‘on’ for a Panel Discussion with the Ambio Team. New York gathers the NYC mobile community a Brand Marketing Show-Off confab as Richmond will explore Responsive Design, Riyadh bounces back for round 2 welcoming a VP of du Telecom for Now Trending and Singapore Celebrates their 7th Anniversary – forecasting plenty of beer and birthday cake – gosh they grow-up so quickly..
As for Oct. 8th crystal-balling.. we have not had much time to pull the upcoming plans together here.. will note for now that Cairo does ReBoot with all day agenda at TIECs Smart Village and Stockholm has Mobile Developer Tools and Frameworks event. Otherwise, suggest you check back next week.
