Essentially, it’s our founding DNA.. the key Objective and Guiding Philosophy – long stated under the About Us section – to Bridge and Foster real people connections.. worldwide. On this Day of Remembrance, in honour of all those fallen, we shall raise a glass and count ourselves most fortunate for the countless ultimate sacrifices made. Looking at the weekly round-up below of MoMo events ontap, congrats to our MoMo SA crew who have 800+ registered for CapeTown gig at AfriCom Jamboree tonight, it’s super to see plenty of action out there around the world. Ok Gents – it’s Grow Time – the annual effort is officially underway again and, as a proud partner of the gRobal MOvement, we’re Ready to Rock! Tons of inspiration around the interwebs for a most worthy campaign; it’s a genuine cause worldwide, with a healthy dose of attitude, that managed to raise $147M in donations in 2012 alone. We Salute You. Looking at our MoMo events lineup below we count 18 gigs planned this week from Ann Arbor to Kuala Lumpur and London to Vancouver with plenty of action to go around at all stops in-between. Finally, another bump for Global Entrepreneurship Week, running from Nov. 18 – 24th, be sure to check-out the various activities scheduled near you.. and Hey.. Smile.. It’s Monday 😀

Gosh.. time flies when yer slammin keys and shootin Red Bull.. it’s now Two-Years since I’ve dedicated time to round-up our MoMo world weekly action here, consider this the 100th anniversary post for The Mob Rulz project! While the lessons learned along that road would be worthy of a tell-all memoir, certainly food for thought, suffice to say that it’s been a great adventure tracking all the local chapter activities and a definite challenge to keep-up considering ‘internal issues’ and the many other tasks required. Trust that my efforts have provided some value, and hopefully a few smiles, along the way. Meanwhile, the final countdown is on for the annual MOvember season again = We’re Good to Grow!

A quickie round-up from the road this week.. ode to the joy of airline food. Right off-the-top, mega smiles for this post-event report via MoMo Washington, as we’re fond of saying: The Future is Young! We also note the countdown is on for Global Entrepreneurship Week, expect multiple MoMo chapters will offer dedicated local activities.

At best rough estimate we’ve run about 375 events worldwide so far this year, with an easy 100+ average audience = 40,000 awesome community folks joining together, in our decade long celebration of aiding and abetting start-up business! Meanwhile.. it’s only 10 more sleeps to Trick Or Treat time – can you feel the buzzzzz.. 😎

With featured topics focused on the mobile Enterprise, Health, Payments and Security sectors, plus colab conference gigs running at Apps World in London and MobileCon in San Jose, see the full list below with a little something for almost everyone. As you might imagine it’s a bit tricky to keep our fingers on the pulse, across multiple platform channels and languages, of all the local chapter activities in our global network. That said, we’re honoured to post these best effort weekly round-ups and thrilled to see that pure energy worldwide – Bringing the Community Together – Cheers.. 😀

Another Monday morning here at mission control and our weekly round-up of MoMo event plans below. Amaaaazing when you think about the global energy and passion required to continue running these activities, self-funded and motivated, with some 500 such gatherings held around the world last year alone; Bringing the Community Together! Of course it’s fantastic to see the impressive action in any given week – MIT Startup Showcase in Boston for example – but our Federated Platform of local chapters is tapping into the best and brightest at trench level across the spectrum of themes and locations. Which is a long way of saying Welcome Aboard to Dhaka who will host a big crowd in Bangladesh tonite.. that’s the kind of news that makes a Happy Bot Smile 😎
