A great pleasure to welcome the latest addition to our family with the launch event of MoMo Wales this evening! They join seven other chapters in the Isles region and have a super lineup of supporters onside there = Cheers to All. Also, a quick hat-tip for our crew in Silicon Valley who introduce the first group joining their inaugural Momentum Accelerator program at this gig on Tues. nite, Congrats!

Finally, and the last shall become the first; mega hugs & kisses – with cake and ice-cream, for all of the Mo-Moms. Our true stars, we can’t always see them.. but.. we know they are always out there.. 😎

Yabba.. geeky bot energy a’plenty, or so it would seem.. we’re still juiced from our annual Star Wars spring film festival marathon.. maybe it’s all that Yoda Soda..?!? Aaaanyway.. lots of great event action out there for everyone tonite, the usual best effort weekly round-up below, and expecting a hectic couple of months before summer holiday season kicks in. Cheers to everyone for cards and flowers received here last week as TMR turned a ripe 75 issues old, time flies when you’re slamming keys, we’ll be 100 before you know it.. Yikes! While it would be easy to get all misty – thanking the academy and uncle Linus – we’d rather keep cranking out cheeky bytes. Of course it would have been a total blast to get our geek-on with the youth gathered in Baku today, apparently someone has to hold-down the fort, we look forward to spend some quality time soon in the Valley of Dreams instead.. 😎

Ya just gotta love the cheeky, make Can do, attitude of our global chapter founders. Of course we ‘usually’ target gathering dates on the 1st night to kick-off the week in style.. then again – sometimes, maybe not. Looking at the line-up below; we have Tel Aviv running on Sunday, with special guests in town, the folks in Vietnam will be gaming back-to-back in Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi on Weds and Thurs respectively and rounding out the pack Trivandrum does MobileCamp at Technopark on Sat. the 27th. We have a full slate of gigs tonite from Accra to Slovenija = All Hail the MObilistas.. 😎

Sorry folks.. we are running hard these last few daze with demanding projects, therefore sadly no time for a snappy update this week. Based on layout style test last week, guess we’ll use same approach – hopping between terminals and tapping on the tab – again here for now. There’s a dozen MoMo events around the world tonite.. let a 1,000 smiles bloom.. 😎

Dear mother nature is working her mysterious magic and the flowers are blooming.. we’re thrilled to be headed into warmer days and ‘actual’ green shoots out there! Which would segue nicely into the equally exciting fact that MoMo Silicon Valley is gearing-up to launch the Momentum Accelerator platform; intimately connected with Angels and Mentors, with an awesome CoLo at Rocket Space, accepting applications until March 31st. We should also note Mo’wheels are in motion for Mobile Asia Expo in Shanghai and CommunicAsia in Singapore again this June, we-be-busy bunnies! Event line-up for this week after the jump.. 😎

Yep.. finally got around to wrapping the smiles for delivery to our +20K members list – a miracle of modern digital comms – many thanks to the good folks at GraphicMail for their efforts. What a seriously Great Time we had at Mobile World Congress this year = full props to the folks at GSMA on the move to Fira Gran Via venue, complete with 8 full-time Networking Gardens! Our MoMo Founders & Friends VIP Mixer was ‘the’ highlight evening function of the week, and not just because of the energetic team from Jolla, thanks again to everyone involved with pulling that gig together.
