Yep… Where the Money Meets the Talent.. as you may have noticed, our ‘epic’ news hinted at here last week is now finally published: MoMo will be Rockin at Congress! Have a skim through agenda so far – many thanks to all supporters on this effort – suggest you book a seat for our Theatre affair in Hall-8 on Thurs the 28th as there’s little doubt that will fill-up real quick. Rumor has it we also have ‘a few’ extra exhibition passes – remain calm – indeed.. allow us chance to get sorted and will be sure to advise how those bonus tix get allocated (Hint: tweet #MoMo_MWC). As our global community gears up for the annual pilgrimage to MWC, this year MoMo will be on site in full force. Suffice to say we are pumped with the – Epic – plan coming together here now.. yes, doing the Happy Dance! While it’s sure to be chaos over the next few weeks, and on the ground during the show, really looking forward to see everyone at the new Fira Gran Via venue. It seems (most) everyone has managed to get sorted, post-silly season, and juggling their schedules for 1Q 2013 activities..?!? Quite frankly.. we’re pretty slammed here ourselves and so will have to make this weeks update in the most quick and dirty style to date. A quick shout-out to Teemu and crew in Oulu who welcome back one of the founding fathers of MoMo, Peter Vesterbacka, aka Mighty Eagle of Rovio fame, for event there this evening.. hope someone manages to get video posted of that gig! Full Kudos to our team in Tel Aviv for pitching-in with help get the Nazereth chapter ready for launch this evening – trust they will have a fantastic gathering – on behalf of the global family we extend our warmest welcome and wishes to all involved! It’s a balmy -5c in Budapest as the dawn rises on our 2nd annual EE Summit here, looking forward to an interesting gig with great Agenda and Speakers ontap today. Slightly warmer at +20c in Melbourne as an energetic crew there has ‘the’ event of the season – Mobile Industry Awards Night – now ready to rip! With all the doomsday chatter swirling around, thanks to Maya mythology and fiscal cliffs, there has never been a better excuse to head-out for a few wobbly pops and meet some good folks at your local MoMo (if) before the whole house of cards comes tumbling down.
