Let The Games Begin – London 2012 – Keep Calm and Carry On.. Smiling!
Bang.. featuring James Bond and the (actual) Queen, along with Mr. Bean playing Chariots of Fire, the London games are officially underway. We’re glued to the (other) screen for all that global best of the best gaming action, shame there isn’t a mobile category – yet – maybe Tokyo will introduce for 2020? Quick heads-up for another massive gig in EU late August for all you MoMo’ers.. Campus Party in Berlin will be a total scene.. meanwhile, our weekly world tour of events listed below, stay cool out there.
Running the week of July 30th we have Beijing ready to rock with a Smart Phone focus, Jakarta gets into the gold medal spirit (heh) with Mobile Gaming and Lagos has E&M Commerce theme. Thrilled to see the combined MoMo chapters in Ann Arbor, Detroit, Grand Rapids and Lansing pulled together for Michigan’s 1st Mobile Tech Conference July 30 & 31st under the theme Mobile Moves Michigan! and note Milwaukee is on at the Hilton for Continuous Delivery with ThoughtWorks evening of July 31st. Finally, full props to everyone in Japan on their co-op effort with Startup Weekend X Ishinomaki event.

Looking ahead to August 6th, we have a new chapter debut (Yah!) as the MoMo South Africa crew will launch Durban, thanks to inMobi for support there, Indore will gather on August 10th for Enterprise Mobility – Are You Ready event with Infobeans while the new team in Croatia, MoMo Split, now polling for their so-far Unknown Edition and Sydney will do Marketing Mix for Mobile Apps at City Hotel.
Update: Singapore just announced they have Handsets for Humanity themed gig at The Hub Aug. 6th while the Kuala Lumpur crew is back at G-Tower View Roof Top Bar talking Tech. Olympics! We also ‘somehow’ missed MoMo Ann Arbour is running next week with Localized Mobile Strategy!
