Smile.. It’s Gonna Be a Bright Sunshiny Monday.. Olá Porto Alegre!

Plenty of great action around the Mobile Monday world scheduled for 21st November, from Dakar to Dublin and Vancouver to Vienna, we got the full skinny round-up below. Starting with warm Welcome Aboard to the latest addition in our MoMo Global family; Porto Alegre, Brazil is set for their debut this evening! Congrats to the new team there (including Samantha Oak, aka – Queen Mob), and thanks to Martin Restrepo, co-founder of MoMo in Sao Paulo, who will be on-hand to keep the bubbly flowing.. 🙂

The bots be thrilled to see Dakar get back down to it with ‘les technologies mobiles’ for their 3rd event since the Senegal chapter launched in April while Dublin runs a BlackBerry Devs gig – Yes, seems some freebies will go to a lucky few there – with a case study by The Guardian on-tap. JoBurg has planned a HUGE year end event for 11.21, last minute registration deets here, with South African Idols winners and mystery handset prizes from Samsung ready to add some extra vibe to the evening!

Nairobi is ‘on’ again at the iHub this evening, personally we could really go for some of Pete’s Coffee about now, while Ottawa has Susan Ibach, developer evangelist for Microsoft Canada, up on-stage talking Win7 Mango! Over in Munich, living large in the glass towers at o2 HQ, they have an awesome line-up ready to explore API’s and Ideas for mobile going forward and heading down under we have the new crew in Perth, loud and proud – it’s also event #3 there, with Nokia in the house.

The NAVTEQ Network for Developers road-show hits Shanghai for a little Mobile Mapping Magic, with widely rumored N8 give aways, at Kathleens in the swank Shanghai Art Museum and Tallinn welcomes the eminent Andreas Constantinou, Managing Director of VisionMobile and founding organizer of MoMo in Athens. Back on the west coast we have Vancouver hosting Ryan Storgaard, Director of Technical Evangelism, Microsoft Canada, at the WaveFront facilities. A few last moment mentions, how do we keep up with it all, Boulder has Get Jar, and – Hey, no clowning around! – some demo night action planned in Kampala and Vienna. Update: ‘Just’ noticed they are gathering in Islamabad too!

As mentioned here last week; the MoMo Global Page is up at Google Plus be sure to hit us there as we’ve got infinite room in our Mobilistas circle, also noted those complimentary showcase packages for the MoMo SV Village at upcoming APPNATION, deadline to apply for that is today. Full props to all our MoBros out there, we’re in the last quarter push to MOnth-end so get yer pretty profile pix online and ping those personal networks for a few sheckles, the mega gala party season is within sight.

Whew.. that’s a wrap – with 15 events ‘on’ tonight, including a new addition to the family – let a (several) thousand Smiles bloom.. 😎

Happy Bots
