Awesome MWC – Feel the Momentum – MoMo is Rockin Tonite @SxSW
What a seriously Great Time we had at Mobile World Congress this year = full props to the folks at GSMA on the move to Fira Gran Via venue, complete with 8 full-time Networking Gardens! Our MoMo Founders & Friends VIP Mixer was ‘the’ highlight evening function of the week, and not just because of the energetic team from Jolla, thanks again to everyone involved with pulling that gig together. Special shout-out for our Silicon Valley team who unveiled the debut of their Momentum Accelerator project.. exciting times! After a required hard-earned breather.. we are back on the switch here now with some 2,000 folks registered to descend on the MoMo SxSW Mixer at Fogo de Chao – Cheers!
The quick tour for MoMo events on March 11th kicks-off in Austin with the (un-official) SxSW Mixer, Cairo has a full-day workshop with Nokia Developer Tools, Dar-es-Salaam does ICT and Entertainment as Detroit digs into Rise of The Machines. MoMo Dusseldorf has BYOD theme while Estonia goes on the road with Monetizing Apps, Hong Kong will deliver their Post-MWC Report and Munich explores how to Create Winning Apps. Richmond will gather for Case Studies in Mobile Strategy, Seattle hosts iWorkDigital session while Silicon Valley has impressive panel lineup for Open Web Devices. Tel Aviv will be Creating Awesome Mobile Cloud Apps, Tokyo is gathering on the 2nd Anniversary of the 3.11 earthquake – Never Forget – and Vienna will be focused on Smartphones for mHealth.
Looking ahead to March 18th events we see Adelaide welcomes Little Birdy Network, Brisbane does Making Money on Mobile, Chicago offers Mobile Games and Sencha Touch theme and Hamburg will run – cue the spaghetti western soundtrack – High Noon on High Street. London is back with Finance, Incubators and Accelerators, MoMo Nazareth plans for their 3rd gathering, Seoul has Qualcomm Developer Day, Stockholm brings DoubleTrader Mobile Insights and Washington is set with a strong lineup for the Internet of Things. For the sake of prosperity; we missed noting these recent events in Boston, Helsinki, Macedonia and Vancouver while running around on the Ramblas in Barcelona.
